Here's a clip from the pilot episode of Deep Space Nine (minus audio) that was upscaled to 4K using Starlight Precise. Less than one minute long, but it took several hours to enhance! I'm not planning on doing more until after I move home, as I can't keep the system running 24/7 right now! #StarTrek
Okay, I've uploaded some test footage of Midnight on the Firing Line (no audio, unfortunately!) upscaled to 4K using Starlight Precise. As you can see, live action footage looks superb, and even the CG which was originally rendered at standard resolution looks significantly better... #Babylon5

Starlight Precise is making a HUGE difference to faces and clothing, restoring lots of fine detail. The first eleven minutes of Midnight on the Firing Line won't be finished for another 12 hours though, but going by these screenshots it'll definitely be worth the wait! #Babylon5
I actually started work on #Babylon5 a while ago, but decided to use the Starlight Precise enhancement model for the pilot episode, Midnight on the Firing Line. Only enhancing the first 11 or so minutes, but it's going to take quite a while... nearly FOURTEEN hours! Hopefully it'll look way better!

Got back from Land's End and unfortunately couldn't take a photo of the iconic signpost as it was utterly surrounded by American tourists! Had to make do with a shot of the landscape. One more day left, but planning on a quiet day as it's still probably way too hot. Really need to pray for rain!
Haven't posted anything for a while as there's a serious shortage of mobile coverage here. The cottage is really lovely, and yesterday was at Project Eden. Unfortunately, temperature has barely dropped below 30°C, and it's only going to get HOTTER!

Unfortunately, the external SSD I was using to store the source and upscaled footage yesterday disconnected about 90% of the way through the enhancement, and had to scrap all of the work. Have decided to store the raw Blu-ray source on an internal SSD, so hopefully it'll work without interruption...
Working my way through the mini-series of Battlestar Galactica, upscaling the Blu-ray source from 1080p SDR to 2160p HDR. Painfully slow, but getting seriously impressive results...
Just as well I have 6TB of storage space on my livingroom PS5 Pro...
