What everyone wants from the Democrats is to raise taxes on the wealthy, which they do when they are in power, and universal health care. Obama did his best with the 6 months of majority he had.
Reagan ran on destroying our government. He never said what he would replace it with. He and his Republican congress changed our tax laws so the poor pay a larger portion than the rich and they changed the laws governing corporations so they could sail away with our jobs.
