I once had a hell of a time finding him at a Wilco show at the Palace in St. Paul because every man there looked just like him.

I feel like I need to just share the tiniest single corner of my aunt’s bonkers house. Details in the alt text.

A red carpeted conversation pit around a brick fireplace. On the left wall, a gallery of sketches and prints of Native American art and some license plates and signs from the reservation my aunt grew up on. Above the fireplace, a display of Native baskets, and on the adjoining wall, several cradleboards. Stockings hang from the mantle over a fence post from the farm my grandfather grew up on. There are a bunch of boxes on the seating area full of things she “hasn’t had time to go through yet”. The whole house is like this, the subject of the vignettes changes but the density and whelm-factor is pretty much universal throughout.
