If you see this, post a vampire that isn't Dracula. A hunted vampire from the Sanction genre setup QkSLVa. On the roadmap for writing completion. #SanctionRPG www.sanctionrpg.com
I'm certain you'll see posts like these dotted everywhere for a little while, but here goes... You can support your local, hard-working tabletop creative types with a summertime Christmas on @drivethrurpg.com 🎁🎅 Up to a 30% discount until the end of July! 🎅🎁 www.drivethrurpg.com/en/publisher...
Jammed into the nest are d12 gold and silver trinkets (candlesticks, rings, etc.), a gnome-sized jawbone, and d100 silver coins: all the dogfolk have been able to loot from the monastery. Thoroughly recommended for inspiration, filling a gaming gap, or just a simple diversion. #TTRPG #cartography
A superb collection of ready-made adventures with detailed maps, many of which involved a strategically placed remnant of a dead gnome, which is my contribution—as a patron—and represents my long-time Warhammer FRP character, Golchak. @drivethrurpg.com #deal www.drivethrurpg.com//product/286...
More random stuff found while clearing up and packing: Homemade token creatures for Magic: The Gathering.
That was thirteen years ago, when All Rolled Up was starting out and I still created an art card for every order. Here's one of those cards created for the occasion of meeting Marian. And that typewriter. #OldSchool #Art [2/2]
Serendipity strikes. Yesterday, we were clearing the attic and among the bags and boxes we found a typewriter. Which reminded me that once we had the pleasure of meeting and hosting talented Alaskan filk legend @mariancall.bsky.social in Manchester, who “played” the typewriter 🎼 #LiveMusic [1/2]
Packing Find of the Day: The original scratch map used for Beneath Market Pryce's and, later, Ex Libris for The Dee Sanction. Random piece of green gridded paper. Drawn in ink. Utterly at odds with the grid provided 😂 #TTRPG #Cartography #Maps
Did everyone watch the new Silo yet? Between that and my Backrooms fascination, I need to get Lost in The Fold to the table. In the interests of someone doing that, too, the Sanction Genre Bundle is just $20! www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/4... (Pipework image taken by Just a Couple Photos)
A queue has formed outside a sealed pressure door. Nobody knows why they're waiting, but nobody will leave. Indeed, pushing anyone to do so causes catastrophic incidents. The people at the front have been standing there for days. The Authority needs to know what's going on. #LostInTheFold
For those picking up and playing Font of All Evil, then questioning the nature and dimensions of the murder site in West Ealing. Well, it was based on something far worse. It was almost like entering some portion of the Backrooms. Here are some pictures of the place it's based on. #RiversofLondon
I second all of this. An outlier poking fingers at other outliers. What strange behaviour. Also, buy more dice, folding dice trays AND All Rolled Ups appears to be the best solution. Sir Ian says it's the right thing to do. www.allrolledup.co.uk
My trip down to Bristol and back has offered me the chance to meander to the halfway point of The Buffalo Hunter Hunter. I'm reserving judgement until i'm finished, but it hasn't thoroughly sold me. It's awards and recommendations aside, I think I had expected more of something. #Vampires
Down in Bristol for a moment, and passed through a church yard and an almost pavementless half-village to get to work this morning. Pleasant and somewhat odd.
Female horse-flies are savage little blighters. I realise that it's an instinctual drive, but I'd rather they didn't. I was just stepping through the garden, felt something alight on my foot, and by the time I shooed it away, a little globlet of blood formed on my ankle. No request. No thanks. 🙄
A moments reprieve from the heat—a relief as I have two days of multi-hour meetings incoming. I believe it will be back soon. While I might have been wilting, the orchids have been doing rather well.
No. Mire End was a bit of a passion project that distracted me until my PC stopped cooperating. It was very big. It needed to be handled differently, software-wise. Anyway, I may come back to it. #astate #mireend #cartography #ttrpg #detailedmap
This weekend, the packdown continues and there's a house, perhaps, in prospect. There's no gaming for me, but that doesn't mean that none are afoot. It's great to see @handiworkgames.bsky.social a|state at LongCon. And a poster-sized Mire End map, by me. Jealous. @malcolmcraig.bsky.social
I posted it somewhere else, so will also post here. If you haven't already, head out and pick up a copy of @byodinsbeardrpg.com Midnight of the Century. It was one of the shopping list pickups from UK Games Expo because this is so in my wheelhouse at the moment. Recommended.
It's Patch Day. Today, The Authority pushes system updates. But this cycle, half the lights flicker purple, service drones stutter mid-task, and everyone in the Archive has fallen into a silent, vacant trance. You've been asked to activate a manual reset, across the Threshold. #LostinTheFold
Every cycle, four bells chime at regular intervals through the pipes, signalling key phases of the day. But today, there was a fifth bell. Low, discordant, and followed by a strangely disquieting silence. The Authority demands that you track the source of this... malfunction. #LostinTheFold
Events creep up on you. And planning for events creep up with even greater stealth. Almost missed the window for running a game at Tabletop Scotland. But, squeezed an afternoon session in on Saturday. Deptford here we come... #DeeSanction @tabletopscot.bsky.social
The archirect of the Chelmsley Wood Shopping Centre must have had a sense of humour, right? Or, is it just me?
In Sheffield, at Patriot Games. I think the roleplaying corner is looking fantastic at the moment. And the Biscoff cheesecake in the cafe is pretty fantastic, too. maps.app.goo.gl/4tp265CcgvCP...
Yes, .GIF is a favourite for the name. But, I love the idea of running a fantasy adventure, and then running it a second time for the Lesser Orders. The game asks, what if you were a team of second rate adventurers sent in to clean up? Can you handle it? www.sanctionrpg.com #CurrentReleases
Between Backrooms towering success and the imminent release of the new season of Silo, I thoroughly recommend you grab a copy of Lost in The Fold, for Sanction. A darkly humorous game of a society unaware of its survival solely on the basis of a rounding error. www.sanctionrpg.com #CurrentReleases
I just stumbled upon Artiphany's Pack of Dogs. Absolutely love this design. #PackofCards #Art #Dogs www.artiphany.com/products/pac...
I hopefully will have the time to get the prep and handouts completed for my next gaming session.
I had outdoorsy moments. We lived near some scrubby woodland and there was a brook (only partially blocked by an old shopping trolley). But, I'd rather read. Or build Lego. Or type out another program on the Acorn Electron. Or traipse into town to the library or John Menzies.
