My main activity in retirement is volunteering as an adoption counselor at an animal shelter. I love getting photos of my friends with their new families. Here's Misty, a soulful pit bull now renamed Gia, with her new mom and dad. Lookin' good, girl. Many happy years, everyone!
A Modest Proposal for July 4: Friends, nearly all dogs are heart-attack terrified of fireworks. How about reducing the onslaught? Skip the wildcat explosions; limit yourselves to the main event in your city or town. Cut down on the canine misery. Toby and Zoe would be forever grateful. Thanks!
