Everton didn't make it to Europe, but I did! A lovely day working with a large group of graduates in Frankfurt. Not all glamour though, as the hotel window pics tell you!

Was a bit warmer in the chippy getting a fish supper, mind. Just done a nice dog walk on the beach. A very pleasant 14°C. Tonight's sunset not as nice as this one from a couple of weeks ago.
Our real anniversary today, the day we started 'courting', as my Mum called it 37 years from the North London Tavern on the Kilburn High Road to today's walk around Loch Morlich.
Me neither, though interesting that the next closest match was 'Liberal Conservative!
41 years ago today. Three coaches from King's Cross Drinking all night on the coach & ferry. Afternoon in Amsterdam The 'forgotten' first half. Those first two goals. The Everton Da's saying 'that's it' when Krankl scored, then Sheedy sorted it. The all-night celebrations. The wonderful memories.
This day in 1978. My first gig; AC/DC at the Liverpool Empire. The proper line-up with the late Bon Scott on vocals. It was so loud that my ears were ringing for two days afterwards! What was your first gig? Where and when was it and what memories did it give you?
From the Highland Kitchen. Rothiemurchus Venison Haunch, potatoes with dill, broccoli, onions. Someone's got to live up here..
From the Hghland Kitchen. Consiglie and broccoli in a sauce of anchovies, chickpeas, garlic, cumin, paprika and black pepper.
From the Highland Kitchen. Salmon fillets freshly caught overnight, sweet potato, asparagus, dash of lemon. Someone has to live up here....🙂
