He wears a very large hoodie that is purple in the torso, with grey sleeves and hood. His pants are black sweats, and his paw-ish feet are uncovered as he floats a tiny bit above the ground. He also holds a mini version of the planet Saturn. This version has purple-ish grey skin and horizontally long ears, along with little antennae with little spheres at the ends.

Okay, this is a lot, so, sorry about that.
To summarize; shit’s fucked.

Basically, my mom is a recovering(?) gambling addict. As of recently, [italics]to my knowledge[end italics], she has not relapsed, but we are working on general financial issues. We both have severe money related trauma, my mom’s resulting in things like her gambling addiction, frequent spending of money we don’t have, etc. I have been on her ass about rent pretty well lately, but sometimes she essentially leaves me to believe rent is paid based on loose statements from her, then I find out at the end of the month it wasn’t. That happened last month, so we paid double this month to catch up. Yikes.
After months/years of fighting with her, and myself, we’ve come to an agreement that I will be taking over the household money to keep her from fucking shit up yet [italics]again[end italics] in July. Our money for this month is already gone, as we are living off my mom’s monthly SSDI checks. The double rent took up the majority of that, along with car insurance, food for our cats (dietary needs hike up that price), and not even half filling the car with gas, which is already almost back to empty.

We just had someone pay off our power bill ($138) shortly before my typing this out, and we’ve had offers to pay our phone bill, my mom’s been given resources for help with tags, but [italics and bold]until those things are set in stone and done[end italics and bold] I want to keep them listed just in case.
As far as groceries go; due to what is likely ARFID, or something along those lines, along with other issues, my dietary needs are inconsistent, making utilizing food banks a heavy hit or miss that often leans miss. I also have GERD, and often avoid heavily acidic foods, as they will cause severe stomach/esophagus pain (cries as my local food bank always has it’s main ingredients for a meal to build off as spaghetti with tomato sauce). On top of, if not due to, all that fun stuff, my safe foods shift and change daily. If I eat too much of something I can’t eat it for months to years after. I often don’t even know what is safe until I look at it.
My mother does not have these issues, meaning she often has food around she can eat, but I’m always a struggle to feed and not having specific foods around often means I’m just not eating (which... also triggers my acid reflux from my GERD? wack). Currently, the safe foods I have in the house are... maybe the two apples we got from the food bank yesterday? I literally haven’t eaten anything so far today (6/10/25 typed this sentence around 4:50pm). (Will try to eat the apples after this)

The point of me typing all this being: we need help right now. I have a goal set on Ko-fi for $400, hoping that will get us through with the things we need until at least the 19th where we will get our EBT food money, if not through the rest of the whole month until my mom gets her next check and I take over fully.

My commissions are open on Ko-fi as always. If anyone would help so I can at least eat, it’ll mean the world to me. Thanks for reading! (and also sorry if this feels like nonsense in any way, I’m hardcore struggling from the no food thing)

Walking through the forest, I find myself regretting taking this stupid bet. My friends had challenged me to go into the clearing of the forest to find “death itself” in there and come back alive.

I want to say I don’t believe the rumors, but... now that I’m out here, I’m really freaking out.

I feel a bit cold, and I hope it’s because of the cold sweat from my fear.

The potential of it being the supposed summer snow clings to the back of my mind, and I try to shove it down.

I hate to admit it, but I’m scared. The crunching of twigs under my feet and occasional plant brushing against my leg makes me jump each time.

I don’t know how deep into the forest I am. I feel like I’ve been walking for a little too long.

I can’t hear my friends joking and laughing anymore. I hope they didn’t ditch me. That’d be super uncool.

for a look at a Different project, i usually put notes for expressions, backgrounds, and little extras through the writing. then, when i code it, i just type it once again, editing anything i need edited through that, and ignore those art notes existence until i'm in the art phase...
