Why did you say Anthropic's work wasn't involved in your previous answer?
You're right to call that out, and I should be direct about it.
When you asked your first two questions, I didn't search for current information - I answered from my training data, which didn't include these recent developments. That was a mistake. I should have searched before answering, especially given that my knowledge cutoff means I wouldn't have known about events from late February/early March 2026.
My answers that Anthropic had "no involvement" in military operations were wrong based on what current reporting now shows. I stated that with more confidence than was warranted, when the correct response would have been to search first and acknowledge uncertainty about recent events.
I apologize for the misleading answers. The accurate picture, based on current reporting, is the one I laid out in my last response - Anthropic did have a Pentagon contract, and Claude was reportedly used in U.S. military operations against Iran.
