Believer in rule of law above all other things. I don't care how many people follow me. I'm not here to entertain. I want to raise the level of discourse and learn.
This is the corresponding Biden-era list, with the caveat that none of these people were openly targeted or called out for prosecution by Biden.
One thing I love about AI is that it can remember shit forever. If anyone on the right equates Trump's weaponization with Biden's weaponization, here's the list of people being politically targeted by Trump:
Serious question here. If the oil markets are willing to shrug this shit off so easily, why don't we pack up our bags and just leave the area? No $300B, no memorandum. We just leave. Let Iran do what it wants to do, since oil markets don't seem too upset about it.
I guess I just disagree with your point. Universal healthcare, social justice, equal opportunity, human rights and charity are not in conflict with capitalism.
I asked Claude what percentage of people in the world live in nations that recognize birthright citizenship. I asked today because I can't be sure it'll be the same answer tomorrow.
Any thoughts on why he (or Stephen Miller) would put "people's" in quotes like that? I'm assuming it's part of the dehumanization program.
By party the results are predictable. That late dip among Republicans has to be the ICE raids. And the trajectory of the Independents follows the Dem line.
Iran is making progress on implementing it's governance of the Strait of Hormuz. Nice job, Trump.
Bluesky question. Why block or limit responses and then post a question?
This guy posts a statement that asserts Trump came to power based on foreign blackmail dirt on his rivals. I ask for his source, and I get the standard honeybadger reply.
Who knows what drives the global oil markets, but Trump restarts bombing and makes detailed announcements of intent to invade Iran, and oil prices go ... down. Does this mean the markets think that he's bullshitting, or that he's telling the truth and we will have a quick and easy victory?
This looks like the, "Pops, we are taking the car keys and we are putting the house on the market..." conversation that we all have with our parents.
It is astounding that gas prices aren't higher. Maybe it's a version of the Musk meme stock effect. There are so many petroleum traders that are Trumpy that they are gaming the market.
Child's play. US invests $1.6B in Kazakhstan minerals project (Eric and Little Don involved) and Kazakhstan signs a $16.5B deal with Putin. Sanctions are just speed bumps for these guys.
Listen. Aging sucks. We lose strength, focus, resilience. But sometimes there's a silver lining.
