Random 🇵🇹 earthling that enjoys videogames, anime, nerdy stuff and restoring game artwork. Like what I'm doing? Buy me a coffee!
The artwork of Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage featured in the cover of Nintendo Power issue 57, February 1994. Usual upscale/clean/retouch process applied. No clue on the artist, any info let me know!
Got Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap for #PlayStation5. It was cheap so I couldn't let it slide. #PhysicalForever
The artwork of Legend of Crystania by Satoshi Urushihara featured as a supplement on Comptiq magazine, December issue 1990. Removed log/text applying the usual upscale/clean/retouch process.
The artwork of Jump Bug used for arcade flyers. Two versions: one with hi-res text/logo, other fully clean. Usual upscale/clean/retouch process applied. No clue on the artist, any info let me know!
Finished Extermination on #PlayStation2. Boy, this game is rough! It has that early PS2 charm with bad voice acting/lip synch, janky animations but a really good atmosphere that reminds me of The Thing. And the gunplay is quite decent once you get used to it.
The artwork of Ishar: Legend of the Fortress by Mark Harrison used on the cover of the #MSDOS and #CommodoreAmiga releases in Europe and North America (Amiga version). Usual upscale/clean/retouch process applied.
Not melting today but I'm at the right place! Also, say hello to my little friend.
The artwork of Insector X used on the cover of the #Famicom release. Not the best sources available so I might come back to this one. Usual upscale/clean/retouch process applied. No clue on the artist, any info let me know!
The artwork of Hokuto no Ken by Tetsuo Hara. Honestly I have no idea what this was used for but I've seen some posters with the logo on web so maybe promotional purposes. Usual upscale/clean/retouch process applied.
Having 130+ #PlayStation2 games it was about time to get another memory card since the previous four are packed to the brim. Yeah, I could go for a more modern and spacious solution but using old hardware has it's own charm.
Finished The Red Star on #PlayStation2. Holy hell this game is brutal! It's a nice mix of beat 'em up, run 'n gun, and bullet hell that can get really tough in some levels but overall it's quite nice to play. Having patience (and some luck) is the key to beat some levels.
The artwork of #GoldenAxe II by Jun Satoh used on the cover of the Japanese #Sega #MegaDrive release (front and back). This is a v2 of my previous attempt using a much better source applying some clean/retouch without upscaling.
Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop, a Wii game that gets crapped on for being the inferior version but it's actually a very fun experience. It feels like a RE4 mod on the console since it uses the same engine but for me not having a time limit is a bliss!
Finished my annual run of Black on #PlayStation2. After 20 years, it's still a banger of a game and one of my favorite FPS on the system. The visuals, sound design, weapons, and destruction are just superb!
The artwork of First Queen: Ornic Senki used on the cover of the #SuperFamicom release. Removed some elements on the bottom, applying the usual upscale/clean/retouch process. No clue on the artist, any info let me know!
And some more pics. The t-shirt size is a M which fits me like a glove.
Scrolling through my old gaming pics and here's the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Limited Edition for the PlayStation 3 which I got aeons ago from Zavvi for half price (it was €90 at launch which is also insane for the content).
