Why is a bench $5000??

The price tag is $5,000 for a bus stop bench and $20,000 for a complete shelter to be built at a bus stop, according to Wave spokesperson Brianna D'Itri. It would bring the total cost of the project to add amenities to 38 bus stops is $765,000, with $612,000 coming from federal funding and $153,000 in fund matching from the city and the county.

I love when someone is able to so clearly articulate the cause of a pattern of behavior you’ve been watching play out for a year (or a decade, sob). This is so obviously how he thinks but it never clicked.

As far as Trump is concerned, the problem was solved when he decided upon a solution; it immediately and irrevocably became everyone else's problem the moment he stopped thinking about it.
