So i was checking old posts and looked at the zoomed in images in this and am in disbelief of how badly bluesky compression managed to fuck this up

Not attempting to "improve it", just did it for fun! I wanted something that resembles MSX/C64 colors but also adhering to the NES range and being its own thing with the purple blacks. Also after playing DQ 1-3 the original saturated colors got tiring, so it's refreshing to play it like this haha

Watched MattKC's video on NES colors and got compelled to make my own NES palette for my Dragon Quest IV playthrough
