Sigh. Once again I am letting Gata watch too much TV. She even dropped her toy when the dog sounds came on.
We had a squabble this morning, but Gata forgave all and cuddled up on the bed.
"If I pull this over, then step on the computer keyboard, I can get her attention."
Dad, I won't be walking the fields with you again, or helping milk cows, feed animals or shovel manure. Just being with you while we did all this is forever in my heart. Should the occasion arise, I will know how to build a hog tight fence.

Ah, the love gifts. 😅 Mine caught a fly, whacked it around and dropped it at my feet. I admired it. Then she ate it.
One of the best photos I have. Mom and Dad on their 50th wedding anniversary. Great parents who raised 9 children.
Gata chased and caught a fly. After carrying it about in her mouth, dropping it on the floor & batting it around, she brought her kill to me. I duly admired it and she proceeded to eat it.
Caturday: My little girl brings her little treasures and leaves them for me. I often wake to one near my pillow.

Returned from several days visiting family. A shot of the St. Louis Arch (MO) which is in a beautiful park. I had gone to the top several years ago, so this time just walked about and admired.
We are also fans of Big Bear eagles as is our cat. We watched last years eaglets fly from the nest.
28 March and NO KINGS RALLY. Meantime back to Caturday: "Just a few more minutes, Mom, then you can get another cup of coffee."
