I had a sudden pain in my finger this morning. I believe a blood vessel spontaneously ruptured. Behold my secret talent.

Percy is napping in his carrier. Oh you odd lil gremlin kitten cat. Erma hates carriers with a passion. And let's me know I am to blame every ride in one. :( It would be nice to have a cat that doesn't mind car trips.

Pretty violets from yesterday. I put them thru a bit of cardboard so the stems are in water in a shot glass. So small and lovely.

Ou yard has the two colors of violets on the right - deep purple with a tinge of blue and white with the purple centers. While walking just now I found white with very little purple: white speckled with purple, a paler purple with a tinge of blue near the centers, and a warm red violets.

Erma is my baby girl. Sassy beans. She's an amazing cat and has never sat on my lap and hates being carried. I do what she prefers and that's fine. Her purr heals my heart.
