I realize this is pretty unhinged, but it bugs me how the purple stripe ended up longer than the other stripes (because of the placement of my toe decreases.) So I’m ripping it back and starting the toe over. 😬🧶😂 #Knitsky #KnittingProblems

A neon striped hand knit sock in progress with finished toe shaping but still on the circular needles. Each stripe is about an inch tall, but the last purple stripe on the toe is about 1 1/2 inches followed by a tiny bit of a blue stripe because of the stitch count changes with the decreases.

Happy two years #ShowMeYourKnits! This is my very favorite ear warmer and I lost the purple one so knitted it again in blue. It’s an oldie but a goodie pattern from Stitch and Bitch called Head Hugger. 🧶

Happy #FOFriday! It's my Take Wing Shell by @holliyeoh.bsky.social. It was touch-and-go for a while there about whether I thought this would fit, but it turned out to be perfect! ❤️🧶 #KnitSky

In addition to the ziplocks, I actually have a collection of nice clear vinyl bags for my WIPs and notions. I love being able to see what’s in them at a glance! #ShowMeYourKnits 🧶

Three clear vinyl zipper bags with yarn and knitting projects or notions inside. The largest in the back was packaging from a sheet set. The other large one with the black handle I got at knit picks many years ago and it wasn’t cheap! But I love it! The case in the front that has my notions came free with a bunch of makeup samples once.

What a fun #ShowMeYourKnits prompt this week! I have a massive collection of beautiful sock blockers - here are some of my favorites! 🧦 🧶 The first two are made by the wildly talented MlynJedrow.etsy.com. She has zillions of designs and top-notch customer service. (More notes in ALT!)

The sock blockers are stained a medium brown color and have an all-over honeycomb cutout with a bee cutout right at the toe.

I had this set of blockers custom-stained. If you shop for them on MlynJedrow.etsy.com, they will be in the standard light birch color.

The person who made these blockers is no longer in business and I've had a hard time locating anyone else who does a cherry stain like this. However, MlynJedrow does a very similar heart cutout blocker. (And if you ask very, very nicely, you may get her to stain the wood like on my bee blockers, but you didn't hear that from me...)

These blockers are from the same person who made my heart blockers who is no longer in business. I have never been able to find a similar set anywhere else. If you happen to know of one, let me know! People ask me where they can buy these all the time and I would love to have an answer!

One more "on my needles" pic for #ShowMeYourKnits! 🧶🧦 The color in this yarn isn't distributed as evenly throughout the skein as I would have liked. The first sock is quite pale and the second is much more vibrant. Can't win 'em all!

This WIP is technically *off* the needles at the moment, but I’m still sharing for #ShowMeYourKnits! 🧶 The pattern tells me to block it before finishing off the shoulders and adding the neck and arm bands. So I do what I’m told. Will be back on needles soon!

Here's a little project on my needles for #ShowMeYourKnits! 🧶 I thought this one was going to end with a major game of yarn-chicken, but so far so good. This cake of cotton is just like the little engine that could! I still have the whole second skein ready to go!

I couldn't resist doing a little patriotic mani in honor of #America250... and... it happens to match this week's squishy mail from Wool & Co!🧶

I'm almost finished knitting this cardigan for my American Girl Doll and it's taught me a valuable lesson: I *really* don't like reverse stockinette. I don't like knitting it and I don't like the look of it. SO glad I learned this lesson on a doll-sized sweater instead of a me-sized one! #Knitsky 🧶

Almost ready to divide for the front and back on my Take Wing Shell! I swear I got gauge, but I think I should have selected a smaller size... it's gonna be roomy, but there's no way I'm frogging it at this point. If need be, I'll gift it to a bustier pal. #Knitsky
