About to distribute another run of promo coasters, this time for Eva Avenue, a Portuguese-American artist starting a residency in Evoramonte, Portugal, to culminate in a show Nocturna Botanica in August, date TBD.
Olá Lisbon, I'm opening for Alamo Sun and Hojas de Nalka tomorrow, 18 July at @afechada with some amazing additions to the FAQ lineup. I'm so darn stoked I made a bunch of coasters to properly enjoy the occasion. If you know me, you know I love a coaster! 🍺⚡🔥✨
Looking forward to opening for Alamo Sun and Hojas de Nalka on 18 Julho at A Fechada...my first outing in Lisboa 😀 Great bands at a fab space, on Nelson Mandela's birthday to boot. Hope to see you ✨
I'm releasing these songs on Subvert.fm, a coop music platform owned and managed by artists like me. It just went live today, check it out and join! I'm a bit of a nerd for coops and Subvert is legit. Help it succeed by giving it a look 👀
Verily chuffed to put a wee album out into the world, songs I wrote years ago but never managed to get recorded until recently. Massive thx to Matthew Tobias for ace arranging and producing! And to the fab other players, esp @bluefiddleguy.bsky.social. Miss ya Ben, come play a show in Lisbon! :)
The Guardian had written a meta description that gave a very different (to put it mildly) characterization of the event: "Witnesses call arrest of video editor Debbie Brockman, a US citizen, by masked federal agents, 'absolutely horrifying.'" This is the description that appears on browser SERPs.
It states as fact something that was, actually, a quote from a Department of Homeland Security official. The actual text of the Guardian article makes this clear.
I've been following the story of WGN staffer Debbie Brockman and really bothered by the meta description used in mobile results, which is likely Google's doing and it's really not okay. Earlier today I searched for her name on my phone and got this search engine result page. Read the description
Could not be more stoked for my friend @clearwing3.bsky.social and the release of her book, Funny Because It's True: How The Onion Created Modern American News Satire. Congrats Christine! Got my copy yesterday and I'm halfway through; so great (esp if you were in Madison in tha late '80s). #TheOnion

Stumbled across my pocket Constitution this morning and now I’m giving it to my high school freshman as he goes off to school. “Read it in your free time today.” He hates me but he gets it. I told him I think the Constitution is a pretty great document and does a fairly
This is how digital life makes me feel these days; can you relate? Last year I wrote a lil guide to help cut through all the dumb info out there. It's called Digital Strategy Roadmap and it includes access to online worksheets to help you craft an affordable and effective strategy, especially for
