update on the sunflower + other sunflowers growing. It's impressive how varied the shapes can be! The last 2 pics depict the same sunflower; it's tiny and it's growing on the back of a spent sunflower?! I had no idea sunflowers could grow that way. It's literally attached on the back, not on a stem.

so it seems this variety changes color!!! This is a different sunflower, before and after a few days. The darker color fades a bit with time, so it becomes more yellow. Isn't it cool??? Also note how the pollen flew away/the bees took it haha

Thank you so much! I love to draw these kinds of fluffy scenes <3 (literally with Altaria in there xD) Btw they're asters, the variety in question is a Japanese aster. The main difference lies in the centre of the flower / pistil, the 1st and 2nd images are asters and the third is a daisy.😊
