I commissioned @rmrondel.itch.io to design a 100% Human Em-Dashes badge so that you can proudly let your audience know that your tasteful (or excessive) use of em-dashes is a purely human endeavor. It's under CC-BY-SA 4.0, so anyone can use or remix it for free! rmrondel.itch.io/emdash-ergo-...
I can toggle whether I want to see nudity, but apparently I can't toggle whether I want to see... what? Swearing? Insulting one of the Bluesky developers?
I am not five years old. How do I turn this off?
4) Revenue sharing. This is a huge one. So many big collaborations rely on it, and since Itch doesn't support that, it limited those products to DTRPG. Note: I've yet to use this here. 5) Some nice little bells and whistles. Custom purchase text and subtext, contributors front and center, etcetera.
Do you love goblins, and want them to remain a threat as your heroes level up? Do you want to throw (literally, in one case) a bunch of weird little dudes at your heroes? Well then boy do I have the product for you! Reinforcements: Goblins is out now! pestopublications.itch.io/reinforcemen...
Name your fav TV show starring a woman. QI!
Also, you can pick up the Kobold Ancestry, my first solo release for Draw Steel, as an add-on for 25% off retail!
Weapons of Lore was originally created for 5e. I converted all of the leveled and cursed weapons for Draw Steel, and designed a bunch of implements and gloves from scratch so that the casters and nulls would have some new toys too. Here are the original authors whose work I converted:
Is there a way to turn this off? If someone posts 3 images, I want to see... 3 images. Not 2⅕ images.
My style sheet is an unmitigated disaster.
Case in point: this monster for an upcoming project. (Hot off the presses - untested and possibly riddled with errors.) If you want to hear more about said project when it's announced later this month, join my Discord: discord.com/invite/bdt4t...
Did a double-take at the nearly identical silhouettes.
Made this thinking about one artist that did work for Flee Mortals, but there are a lot of great artists that have seemingly dropped off the face of the earth lately. Hope you're all doing okay.
My players really know how to fill me with dread. #drawsteel
Oh, right, my marketing plan was to share villain actions. I should, you know, do that. Here's the first villain action for the Hammer Master, a kobold with a comically large hammer. Get them and the rest of the backer kobolds in the Kobold Ancestry! pestopublications.itch.io/kobold-ances...
In lieu of having a post-release marketing plan, I'm gonna just post the abilities from kobold leader stat blocks that made me giggle the most. Let's start with the Tool Shed Artificer's third villain action: pestopublications.itch.io/kobold-ances...
After months of hard work and many evenings giggling as I turned wacky kobold prompts into stat blocks, I'm thrilled to announce that version 1.0 is ready! If you got it on Itch, you can download the new version from the Itch page. If you got it on Backerkit, a download email should go out soon. 🧵
My outfit right now is the Flee, Mortals! tee shirt, a pair of denim carpenter shorts, and sandals. 😁
Why yes, the only way I can convince myself to do marketing is to turn it into a shitpost. How did you know?
Itch lets creators set their cut. I changed it to 0% when they started delisting LGBTQ content (let's call a spade a spade). Itch responded by turning all of my info panels greyscale. Looks like when my bandwidth frees up, I'll track down that Rising Tide talk about setting up your own storefront.
This is what my 5e (2014) stat blocks look like. Close to the Monster Manual, but with some formatting stripped out. It fits my products' style better, and more importantly, I was able to build this into my Microsoft Word template (I do my own layout in Word), which means my products actually ship.
Do I know anyone that's played around with @speakthesky.itch.io's Dicier font? I'm curious whether it can be used to create approximations of the Draw Steel tier icons. Having those as a font would make third-party releases (especially those without professional layout software) so much easier.
