Andy Hawkins, who pitched a no-hitter for the Yankees against the White Sox in 1990, but lost 4-0. To add insult to injury, MLB didn't even credit him with an official no-hitter since he "only" pitched 8 innings. (The White Sox were winning, so there was no bottom of the 9th.)

The Yankee right-hander was sabotaged by no run support and shoddy defense while losing the gem 4-0 to the White Sox at Comiskey Park. Hawkins, who was nearly released by the Yankees a month earlier, was perfect through 4 2/3 innings and was dueling Chicago starter Greg Hibbard, who was perfect through 5 1/3 innings. The roof caved in for Hawkins in the eighth inning. With two out, Sammy Sosa hit a grounder to third baseman Mike Blowers, who let the ball bounce off his glove for an error. Two walks loaded the bases before Robin Ventura hit a liner to left. Jim Leyritz, normally a third baseman, had trouble with the ball and it hit off his glove for a bases-clearing, two-base error. The White Sox capped Hawkins' bittersweet dream performance when right fielder Jesse Barfield let Ivan Calderon's fly go off his glove for another run-scoring error. It was the first losing no-hitter since April 30, 1967, when Steve Barber and Stu Miller of the Orioles combined to no-hit the Tigers. Hawkins joined Tommy Hughes, Aug. 30, 1910, as the only Yankees to throw a losing no-hitter."

I am standing in between Beth and Margaret in the front of a law school classroom, wearing a colorful red Hawaiian shirt like a Magnum P.I. cosplay with glasses. Good morning Chicago Union Station, the Great Hall is never this empty when I'm walking through on my regular workday commute.

Chicago Union Station Great Hall, a huge waiting room with 3-story vaulted ceiling, Romanseque columns at the doorway, long pew-style benches that are almost completely empty at 5:30am on a Wednesday, and a convex curved roof with a skylight.

It's not an absolutely complete collection of d6 West End Games Star Wars RPG books, but I don't think it's missing anything of importance and it's as complete as anyone else is likely to have. (The D&D books and Battletech books are on a different shelf.)
