A reminder of the outright lies that Keir Starmer told in order to con Labour Party members into voting for him as leader. Good riddance to a man who has been a shameful stain on politics...
If everyone gets their act together, I do genuinely think Farage could end up losing to Count Binface. A lot of other people clearly agree. When I first checked the odds against Binface winning, I expected it to be something like 50-1 against. It's actually less than 4-1. Make it happen, Clacton!
So many people fell for the narrative that Starmer won a landslide at the last election, when it was clear that it was only the unpopularity of the Tories and the absurdity of FPTP that led to his majority. I argued at the time that his victory was built on sand. I'm happy to have been proved right.
A piece of advice for Starmer. "If you don't like it, the door of Number 10 is open, and you can leave..."
Delighted to see that my fellow Green Party supporters clearly agreed with myself and Caroline Lucas and lent their votes to Andy Burnham on this one occasion. Now let's pull out all the stops to beat Labour and Reform and win the Manchester Mayoral election...
Yesterday, two men were convicted of the most horrendous crime imaginable – sexually abusing and murdering a baby. There were no riots in the street, no calls for 'pure cold rage' from Nigel Farage. The men were white. People like Farage do not care about women and children. It's pure cold racism.
On my way up to Scotland to watch the Haiti game in a bar in Leith with our twin sons. The last time Scotland got to the World Cup they were four months old. They're now aged 28.
My view here at Lord’s. Nothing beats a day of Test cricket! #ENGvNZ
Blimey! I know some people think Andy Burnham is more right wing than he claims to be - but that really would have been a shock move...
Ha ha! I have an irrational soft spot for Andy Burnham (especially if his commitment to introduce PR is genuine, which would be a game-changer) but this is fair comment...
Question: Can you be plunged into something when you're already twenty feet deep in it? #StarmerOut
That 17 minute meeting in full... "You're crap!" "Fight me then." "I will." "Go on then..." "I'll do it when I want to." "You're scared!" "No YOU'RE scared!" "Your Mum smells." "My Dad was a toolmaker." "Yeah, he made YOU!" "I'M seeing the King. So there..." (The grown-ups are in the room)
Just to be clear. Keir Starmer is not a decent man. He’s a vacuous, unprincipled liar, who claimed that Jeremy Corbyn was a friend of his when it suited his purposes, and then abandoned everything that he promised to stand for. A spineless chancer, played for a fool by a malevolent factional clique.
Wow! Just looking back at some of my past predictions. This (from 2015) is interesting...
Excellent news from Lambeth! One of the most rotten, self-serving, arrogant Labour councils in the country has been ousted. Good riddance!
I posted this back in June 2024. I'd say that everything in it has turned out to be correct... #StarmerOut
Reform - backed by billionaires. Green Party - hated by billionaires. If you’re against the elite #VoteGreen
Off to Easter Road for Hibs v Celtic. It’s going to be a bizarre atmosphere. Every Hibs fan wants a Celtic win to stop Hearts winning the league. One of my sons says that anyone who’s caught celebrating Hibs goals in the home end should be banned!
Our son Robbie is running the London Marathon in aid of Guide Dogs today. Very proud of him!
True - he'll resign (or be kicked out) after Labour is wiped out in the local elections on May 7th...
Great to hear Zack Polanski speak here in Lewisham after a morning out canvassing for the Green Party. Great response on the doorstep. There’s every chance the Greens could win this council from Labour. Over 3,000 members in Lewisham now!
The Met Police estimated that there were only 50,000 people on the Together Alliance March yesterday. They also estimate that the number for emergency services is 333.
This is massive! Caught up with the Green Party section of the march. The start of the march set off from Hyde Park Corner nearly two hours ago. This part of the march hasn’t even got to the starting point yet…
No to Trump’s barbaric war on Iran. And no to the Iranian Regime! #WomenLifeFreedom
