No, my dad didn’t shrink me. He wasn’t around a lot when I was a kid. Because he also got shrunk and rats were always chasing him away.

Wish that people who owned laundromats would realize that some of us, due to poor research and a misunderstanding between their parents, spent most of their lives in a kangaroo pouch being carried through the Australian wilderness and only know the things a kangaroo knows, hopping, boxing, and the brotherhood of the kangaroo community so we find television upsetting and overwhelming

Aleks told me that I always think I see time-traveling doppelgängers so I found a simpler and more logical explanation for what was going on here.

The part in Prometheus Unbound that's like:

A couple panels from a Firestorm (not sure which issue but believe that’s it’s the one where the bad guy grows goat legs- I have a bunch of panels from
these comics floating around in my phone) comic written by Gerry Conway and probably drawn by Pat Broderick. A cop is reading an Eclipse comic and he says, “These comics give me a laugh. Elves and aardvarks…talking ducks! Hoo hah!” “What really kills me are the dumb reviews in fanzines. You’d think these bozos were talking about Moby Dick or…Whassat?” And then on the following page he finds a prisoner who is horrified to find out that he now has goat legs.

A four-panel comic drawn by your bluesky friend, Pete Toms. It's titled Person from Porlock and the titular person is sitting in a chair reading Kubla Khan by Coleridge which has an intro where the poet in complaining about our protagonist. In panel 1 he's like "Jesus Christ." In panel 2 he says, "A guy can't stop by and say hello because some motherfucker might be writing a poem." In panel 3 he reads a bit of the poem, "As e'er beneath a waning moon was haunted by a woman wailing for her demon-lover..." and is like, "God forbid someone interrupts this. Also I have a name." In panel 4 he's slightly resigned and says "At least nobody reads this shit." I hadn't drawn a comic in a while and had forgotten that very specific feeling where you come up with a joke that's maybe at best slightly amusing enough to put in a 4 panel strip and then what's actually funny is the amount of effort and time you have to put in to actually produce the finished comic.

So how could you see him die, but you're still alive? Are you saying you outlived him?"
"Healthy people die all the time," Gel said with confusion.
The boys were laughing really hard now. "That's not how it works at all!"
