The new traffic signal at Centre Avenue and North Dithridge Street is LIVE! This project was fully funded through the Commonwealth's Automated Red Light Enforcement (ARLE) program.

I was glad to join Mayor O'Connor and other stakeholders to spend time on Craig Street and think about what's next for this vital corridor.
As work continues on the Charles Anderson Bridge, inspectors found additional steel deterioration that needs repaired to keep the bridge safe & reliable. Because of these added repairs, the project will take longer than expected and the earliest the bridge is expected to reopen to traffic is 2028.

A new traffic signal has been installed at the intersection of Bayard and North Neville! The signal includes: ✅ Pedestrian countdowns and audible pushbuttons ✅ Dark-skies compliant lighting ✅ Leading Pedestrian Intervals ✅ Updated signage ✅ Pavement markings to calm traffic
