When I talk about how consent is complex and often CAN be bought and coerced because nothing is clean or binary, people go "you sound like a rapist," and I don't know how to convey all the ways good intentions and rigid thinking can lead to catastrophe in intimate settings.

It's easy to say "don't get intoxicate women to sleep with you" but what if she's crying and she's seeking comfort in your arms? Would it be better to reject her because she's vulnerable, or go forward with it so she knows she's not alone? Human interaction gets very very messy!

It is true that predators learn the rules to exploit them but it's also true that "not" knowing the rules leads to actual crimes that utterly bewilder the perpetrator. It's probably better that you know the nuance than try to live your life thinking it's obvious.

the 48 doesn't have the small scoop of plastic under the slide release, the thumb rest on the grip is much less indented, and the tlr 7a is too wide to fit that rail. I am very confident this is a full size glock frame (sorry, not trying to be a dick). 48 left, 45 right.

this is why i fucking hate the pittsburgh scanner account y'all. they post context-less scanner bits like this, which is literally "what people tell dispatch" and "what the cops say to each other" and people take it as goddamn gospel truth.

a post by producertory.bsky.social. It says "from this scanner traffic, you might imagine it was an enormous crowd in Pittsburgh blocking the ICE office. You would be wrong. According to police, when they got there, seven (7) protestors were blocking the driveway. So, you know, now you have that information moving forward.

The quoted post is from @pgh-scanner.com that says "South Side. 3000 Sidney Street. Caller is with ICE and says protestors have them blocked in.
