#believeinfilm #filmphotography Hodnet Gardens ..... I do not know what this is, but guess it is an old, out of use water tap for perhaps filling water troughs? Nikon F90X. 28-70mm lens. @ilfordphoto.com FP4+. DD-X.

#believeinfilm #filmphotography At Hodnet Gardens. Despite suffering historical trauma (storm? lightning?) this oak is still going strong ..... and provided lovely textures for BnW film. Nikon F90X. 28-70mm lens. FP4+. DD-X. A #darkroom print.
#believeinfilm #filmphotography I have photographed this scene before, and posted it here, but this time the Oaks are in full leaf. Nikon F90X. 28-70mm lens. @ilfordphoto.com FP4+. DD-X. #fridayfavourites

#believeinfilm #filmphotography 5 frames to finish, so I went to nearby castle ruins. A couple plus child arrived for a photo session with a pro photog (he had a large grey lens and a sidekick). I sat bemused as he directed, seemingly paying no attention to how light fell upon them. F90X. FP4.
#believeinfilm #filmphotography My favourite ancient barn. The latest rendering of some detail. Nikon F90X. 28-70mm lens. @ilfordphoto.com FP4+. DD-X.

#believeinfilm #filmphotography Another from old, found, a 90+ year old negative. My mother, left, with her brother at the seaside. I do not know who the girl on the right is. Author .... probably their father, my grandfather. Camera .... probably a box brownie. A #darkroom print.
This is the envelope the negs were in. Plus an individual contact ..... tempting people to get an enlargement ..... and another sales card.
#believeinfilm #filmphotography Another #darkroom print made from 90+ year old negs. My grandmother atop a donkey at Weston Super Mare (we think). Photog - prob my grandfather. Camera - prob a box brownie model.
#believeinfilm #filmphotography I make #darkroom contact prints - std at grade 2 - and use them for assessing and choosing those to print. I took this for the #fp4party in March, but dismissed it; bland, subtly overexposed? I re-assessed it and decided to try it at grade 3. Bronica RF 645. 10x8.
#filmphotography #believeinfilm I made this #darkroom print from a 90+ year old negative. Photographer unknown but probably my grandfather. Camera unknown - probably box brownie. My mother and uncle as children.
#believeinfilm #filmphotography Another print I have made from a 90+ year old negative. It was a tricky job ..... the negs were not pristine and 2 1/4" x 3 1/4". I used a 6 x 6 neg holder (my largest) and cropped. This is my great grandfather - a pork butcher. I never met him.
#believeinfilm #filmphotography I did print ..... but none of my work. Clearing my late mothers house 3 years ago, we came upon some photo albums .... and also some negs. I suspect my grandfather was the photographer ... likely a box brownie. My mother and her brother at the beach .... about 1933?

#believeinfilm #filmphotography Harsh light .... but I thought I may make an image ..... Nikon FM2n. 35mm. HP5+. FX39 II. A #darkroom print.
We are digging out some cupboards in our utility space. Amongst the other detritus I found this. I cannot see a date on it, but I am guessing it is at least 20 years old. There is no sign of the lab still existing on a web search. #believeinfilm #filmphotography
