Happy Primary Day! 🗳️ Most election laws are set by state and local governments, but there are federal laws that provide us with rights and protections as we vote. These are just baseline laws; in fact, you may have even more protections in your state, county or city. Here are a few basic protections
Thank you to @aflcio President Liz Shuler for recognizing the courage and sacrifice of the workers who answer the call when disaster strikes. To everyone on the front lines, and to the families supporting them, we stand with you. Stay safe ✊

Working people built this economy, and working people deserve power in shaping what comes next. A future that values dignity, transparency, safety, and shared prosperity will only happen if workers organize for it together.
When it comes to protecting workers from the harms of AI, working people trust unions more than employers or either political party. That trust comes from generations of organizing for safety, dignity, transparency, and a voice on the job.
AI is already changing workplaces, but too many workers are being left in the dark.
We’re demanding technology that works for people. New polling shows overwhelming support for a pro-worker AI agenda: human oversight on employment decisions, access to training and education, protections against misinformation, and real guardrails in the workplace.
US workers overwhelmingly support union-backed policies on AI. The @aflcio in-depth polling of workers’ sentiments toward AI comes as workers have increasingly been seeking and securing protections through collective bargaining agreements on how AI is used in the workplace. #BetterInAUnion
