And time to finally sit down on the sofa switch in hand, World Cup on the TV and baby monitor on the coffee table. Better start playing my game before my son inevitably wakes up just as I’m finally getting into it.
Just picked up a copy of Fire Emblem Three Houses. I haven’t played a Fire Emblem game since the Game Boy Advance days. Fortunes Weave got me excited so I thought I should try and play one of the latest Main Line games before it.
Started Undertale and I can only imagine that this must be what taking LSD must be like 😂
And that’s a wrap! The Adventures of Elliot completed, true ending achieved. I enjoyed the game overall, combat was fun, boss fights were great with nice variety of mechanics, story was good but a bit too cute / cuddly and I enjoyed the puzzle elements, nothing to challenging but still rewarding.

Now my son is 6 months old we’ve started giving him some solids along side his milk. Yesterday was broccoli, today courgette. It’s been really successful. Can’t wait for next year to be growing these vegetables with him.
Making slow progress on The Adventures of Elliot as I’m doing all the side quest when they become available. I heard you get locked out of them if you progress the main story before completing them.
Some recent game purchases for the Steam Deck. Picked most of these up for no more than a couple of £’s.
The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is one of the best albums ever made. Probably listen to it at least twice a month.
Got the World Cup on the TV and playing Dave the Diver on the steam deck.
It’s 10:30pm and currently 28.5°c in the house. I have a baby who’s waking every couple of hours because of the heat and having to spend the same amount of time getting him back to sleep whilst we’re both sweating. I hate global warming!

I’ve been very tempted to apply some modifiers to Mina the Hollower to make it easier, but in the end didn’t. I’m glad I just carried on. I’ve found the game has a very tough start but once you get a few more upgrades the challenge becomes more achievable and run backs etc get quicker.
As well as Mina the Hollower I’m also playing 007 First Light. Really fun, love being stealthy, great cinematic moments and the creative routes you can choose to achieve the goal can vary every mission.
Good morning all. Mina the Hollower is fantastic! Challenging, but really good fun.
Finished Replaced. The visual and animations are beautiful, combat is fun, wish some of these new abilities happened earlier on though. Platform and puzzle elements were good nothing too challenging. Would recommend, it’s about a 12 hour game and easy pick up between other games.
Doesn’t feel real that that’s the last we’ll see of Salah and Robbo in a Liverpool shirt 😭

Started the morning with some more Replaced. Just got to get through today and then a nice long 4 day weekend for me.
Finally got my son back to sleep but I’ve now gone past the tired stage to fall back to sleep myself. Guess it’s time for Forza Horizon 6. Probably going to regret not going back to sleep come lunch time.
