Golden Kamuy Abashiri Prison Raid Arc This was the point of the anime (after the dried persimmons scene) where I really got invested in the series. Movie did not disappoint! Though yeah watching this dang they really had all of the Tanigaki/Inkarmat and manservice in this arc lmao
Local production of Young Frankenstein Oh this was wonderful. This worked way better as a musical for me
One Piece Heroines I guess this is just one episode? Huh, was expecting this to be a seasonal anime. Either way, I roll my eyes a bit about the girls teaming up for a fashion show. Would’ve loved to see them on a crazy-ass adventure not related to stuff like fashion. Nami & Robin make a great team
Magnificent Seven (1960) Admittedly I will need to rewatch because I had other loud music playing and a fan to act as white noise for my brother’s dog But yeah I watched Samurai 7 back when it aired on Toonami and will find a time to watch Seven Samurai

Witch Hat Atelier At first I thought “I’m liking the parallels between casting spells and being a creative, especially in a world that limits it so”. The fight against the dragon was beautifully animated. Then episode 12 happened and I went HOLY SHIT-
Frozen stageplay I wonder if it’s because the movie’s engrained in my memory that I disliked it as much as I did
Akane Banashi This is my favorite of the spring 2026 season by a long shot. Each episode kept me gripped with the artistic details and inner workings of a character’s motivations. Seeing each rakugo performance was always a highlight, and gosh these characters are fantastic
Go For it, Nakamura! Comedy wasn’t my cup of tea when it was about the embarrassing parts, but that’s on me. I loved when it had classic anime hijinks. I loved this series’ heart for the more sincere moments, like meeting the lunch mangaka or the boys’ friendship
Episode 4: I find it so cool that Slip Away got a vocal version in TYBW. I also love Ruri’iro Kujaku’s design. Muramasa is correct that Zanpakuto have their own wills as Asauchi, at least. Though yeah, Nimiya said that Shinigami resonate with Asauchi to learn who they really are
Episode 2: God, Sode no Shirayuki’s so pretty. She, Hyorinmaru, Senbonzakura, and Katen Kyokotsu have really great designs I also wonder how Nimiya would feel about his creations rebelling, or ponder how Arrancar get their hands on them w/o the Hogyoku

Paradise Kiss Teenage/young adult drama amirite. Thank goodness Isabella was there. Otherwise I think I had different ideas of what I was expecting getting into this. Still a neat show, though I wonder if I should check out the prequel series (where I can only find Arabic subs)
Raidou Remastered I had more fun with than I expected! The mystery’s not a huge mind fuck, but I think it was still pretty entertaining. Combat was my favorite part (usually I can’t do hack n slash due to my wrist being evil). I also recognized a lot of seiyuu that I like here wrow!
Hm I likely can’t use Tenso due to their new policies. What else should I use for Balam’s birthday goods…
