Here's the worst part: the hospital was trying to charge me $1533.77 for this 10-minute procedure. But insurance? Oh, for them, the rate is $197.56. What a fucking scam.
It's so surreal. I took A to an appointment at Children's today and the hillside is blackened right up to the hospital. It came so close.

So every single time I open Instagram it's going to try to get me to turn on notifications? This is going to put me over the edge. My Microsoft to-do list does the same thing and it drives me NUTS. If I want to turn on notifications, I will. Don't make me dismiss this EVERY TIME I open the app.
Ordered H a graduation gift, made an appt with a new therapist, cleared out all this junk from my basement and took it to Savers, posted the stuff Savers won't take to Buy Nothing, and now am going to walk my dog before school pickup. A TCOB day.

I put in some native, drought tolerant plants last summer and I can't believe how fast they are growing. I thought this guy was dead! Someone pulled it out in the fall, there was no trace of it. Two weeks ago it burst forth from the earth and now looks like this.
I ordered some bins for my closet last week and the HUGE boxes have been sitting in my living room every since because it just felt too daunting to start. This thing was a goddamn disaster. Now you can see EVERYTHING. I still have some more stuff to sort and label but SO MUCH BETTER.
Time to clean out a kid room. The bane of my existence is this little junk that kids get EVERYWHERE.
