Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!

Two loaves of bread on parchment paper atop a baking sheet. Each loaf has several scores cit into the top crust. The farther loaf looks browner than the closer loaf.

One loaf has been cut into, revealing the soft interior. This is sourdough bread by the way.

We saw a juvenile mockingbird today!!! My favorite bird!!!

Bird on the sidewalk, about five inches long beak to tail, with mostly grey-brown feathers and some darker feathers in a dappled pattern. It has dark eyes and a dark beak and a baby face.

Bradley is foiling my grading efforts in various ways

I’m sitting in a chair with my knees up and a small stack of papers on my lap. Bradley has climbed onto my lap, preventing me from grading. I am looking at the camera and gesturing like “get a load of this guy.”
