I want to clarify that -- the announcement that L2 will (eventually) be required for in store events was first announced at Pro Tour *New Jersey* (so... over four years ago). We've always promised the following since then:
1. When there is a timeline for this to become official we'll give *at least* six months notice
2. Before that happens we'll have clear pathways for judges who are not near other judges to get the recommendation they need.

We have not started the clock. There isn't a timeline (yet). I will say we're closer to it now than we've ever been but before we get there we'd need more data about who is judging existing events to confirm that we have good coverage of L2s so communities don't get left out.

When this future change becomes real we'll be shouting it from the rooftops.

Additionally people looking for cheap CC decks can easily end up buying an illegal deck. @tcgplayer.com should add a legality marker, for LL at the very least, to make sure this is less likely since we don't have time-based rotation. A deck from 2024 could be legal while one from 2026 isn't

Not happy about tcgplayer adding this to their site. A lot of non- #fabtcg players are going to see these numbers and immediately lose interest because there is no context on how important the very expensive cards are for their respective decks. A Marlynn in portugal made semis w/o riches🤷
