I went to the old Yanagihara Bank building in Kyoto this morning. Not only is it a part of Kyoto's history, it's also a reminder of the historical discrimination against the Buraku community of #Kyoto .The building is now a small and interesting museum. www.hiddenpathskyoto.com
Mampuku-ji Temple, local to me. Lot's of history, lots to see, never busy. Obaku, Kyoto. They have a number of events during the year, bread festival, music festival, evening light up etc. Well worth a visit. #Kyoto www.hiddenpathskyoto.com

Kizu and Uji river's from the observation tower at Sakura Deaikan. The bank between the two rivers is also known as Sewaritei Yodogawa River Park. To the right is the location of the 1582 Battle of Yamazaki between Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Akechi Mitsuhide. #Kyoto www.hiddenpathskyoto.com
