Wow, that was a suddden and totally unexpected increase in wind speed. 5 to 25 km/h in under an hour - looked like a front going through, but can't see that on the charts with this huge great high pressure over us. The antenna mast had been at full height all day and had to be lowered pdq! #hamradio

Absolutely, regardless of the weather! I'll usually spend an hour or so sitting on a lounger on QM2's promende deck watching the ocean drift by, so relaxing. Usually do a lap or two before bed as well, helps me to sleep! Queen Victoria's promenade deck in contrast is not a very nice space.

Well this caught my eye on 6m this morning. Doesn't look like the usual false decode and locator EL06 really is in Mexico, but it was a one off and there was no other evidence of transatalantic propogation #hamradio
