Best take I've see on Lindsey Graham yet:
So _that's_ what GPC's special parts were originally designed to do!
Too bloody hot to cook inside, but the farm share waits for no one. So, grilled snap peas and broccolini are the lucky winners! #HeatWaveCooking
Excellent, no notes! (Though I'd've gone H is for Hobgoblins) So, one note.
They say they don't observe Pride, but 47 threw a giant party that featured sweaty almost-naked men grabbing at each other while the crowd cheered them on. I don't kink shame. Happy Pride to the homoerotic athletes and the industry that exploits them. Your host is the worst President in history.
Rhubarb was made for upside-down cake. Sweet cake and caramel with tart rhubarb, aw yeah. This one was baked in a 10 in cast iron skillet. Yum!
Taking my kid to hang out with My Fellow Olds and their kids at the #TMBG show, and it happens to be Pride in the city too, nice! Rainbows and good music abound.
The song of my 50's has finally been written...
UPDATE: SPIDORR has now withdrawn from the Freedom 250 Celebration.
Benedict Cumberbatch is the Japanese version of Benedict Cumberbatch, LOL - but I get you.
Then why does he have a British accent, hmmmM?
Unintentional bisexual icon, Hengelina Bawklee is complete. She was a pull-from-the-hat gift in return for donations to my Knit-For-Food knitathon this year, and the recipient requested ‘a chicken! pink-purple-blue please!’ Glad to oblige. 🧶 #Knitting
Joyful Beltane, my witches! Leap the fires and come out the other side better and stronger for the summer to come.
Tried making bagels - they all had holes when they went _in_ the oven… #breadsky
The season of the Grilled Pizzas is upon us! Let the outrageous NOM NOM begin! (Grilled pizzas are 100% my fave, since I don’t have a wood-fired bread oven in my future.)
I call this one 'Unexpected Lesbian Awakening.' It just spoke to me.
For this week's #ShowMeYourKnits theme of purple, here's my proudest project: self-striping sock yarn 🧶 in the Asexual flag colors for my kid. I could wish the purple stripes were less red, but for a first attempt I can't complain. The Kiddo still loves to wear these.
Wow, I could wish my Easter Eggs came out that nice! Valley Yarns Franklin, dyed with leftover Easter egg dye - food coloring and white vinegar, heat set in the microwave after applying the dyes in plastic wrap. Especially love that green-yellow-orange stretch! 🧶 #DIY
How to know your spouse knows you very well: to make you laugh, they put a pyramidal-shaped box on their head and say "I've got a new Church Hat!" #MST3K
Probably 15 years ago I bought a giant cone of Valley Yarns Franklin undyed, and it’s been a hoot just being able to wind off a skein and use whatever color I have in my hands. This skein is for leftover Easter egg dye. Clearly I’ve got another decade of 🧶yarn still left, ha!
I'm told this week's #showmeyourknits is cowls - my mom was constantly cold during her last decade, and she convinced me to make several for her; which of course I never took pics of. Here's one I knit 🧶 for my kid's school auction - it actually sold for what it was worth in time & materials!
12 hours knitting 🧶 all done! Hands are definitely tired. Spent the morning part on my sunny porch, then chose to watch #MST3K’s The Gauntlet since it’s a marathon too. 😁 congratulations to all the knitters who raised $$ for hungry folks today! #KnitForFood2026 #KnitForFood
Nine hours in and about to break for dinner. Most of the back end is done on this Emotional Support Chicken, moving onto breast shaping and head. Probably won’t finish today, but making good progress! #KnitForFood #KnitForFood2026 🧶
House: cluttered. Shirt: “Knitting Not War.” Project: Emotional Support Chicken. Knit For Food 2026 is ON!!! 🧶
This little dude was in the rubbish in my garage today. Look out, neighbor’s chickens, the minks (I think that’s what it is?) have woken up from winter hibernation!
My unkempt lawn showing the first few crocuses.
Dress for the world you want to see. #NoKings #KnittingNotWar 🧶✌️
Joyful Ostara, my witches! Happy to feel the sun returning. Where I am, that means snow drops and crocuses, won't get daffodils or tulips for 2-3 more weeks.
