UPS recently updated their live delivery tracking but it’s no improvement. It seems to imply the truck’s route to the delivery address when in actuality it redraws the route from delivery to the truck every time it changes location.

Whelp. After 2.5 years and nearly 27,000 miles (43,400+ km), my lard ass finally cracked a rail on my first leather Brooks #bike saddle. So it’s time to immediately go buy another one!

Today was the perfect day for the “wet bike”. VO Zeppelin fenders on the Space Horse meant that I could still ride 30 miles in this crummy weather and it was mostly the humidity that made me wet.

Just…just look at that sparkle and shine. All I did was clean it with some Simple Green and use some Goof Off to remove some weird residue on a few spots. I still plan to use some of the gentle car polish and it’ll be blinding.

I have a dull, persistent headache and a pulled muscle in my back, so no ride today. But I got to mock up a bunch of changes to the old Trek! Saddle is temporary, may take off the chain guard, but I’m pretty dang happy with where this is going.

I ride in the cold for the same reason I ride in the heat: so I keep riding. My body (and choice of attire) will adjust pretty quickly, and it leaves me with fewer excuses to stay indoors. #bikes
