Not too long ago, here in Atlanta, 3 Waymos were braked at an intersection and blocking it because they didn't "know" how to respond to a blinking red traffic light. They just sat there... du-uh!

Over 40 years ago, having those basic needs fulfilled by #safetynet programs enabled me to excel in #communitycollege, discover and launch a new career, and lift myself and 2 kids out of deep #poverty! Is why I remain an outspoken advocate of them and share my story in a memoir, #ADayattheFare.
