I bought a used replacement iPad mini this week because I broke my other one by accident just a day after my warranty expired. My replacement iPad mini won't let me add AppleCare to it because coverage expired 28 years ago...? I didn't realize they had iPads in 1978!
I finally completed all the revisions to my book, had the index completed, read through it, caught any last minute issues! It should be available in late August/September! /1

I bought a watch before I headed to the ISA conference. I didn’t realize that it was being shipped from Denmark. I got a bill today for the tariffs: $39.66 (although only $21.16 was for the tariffs). 1/4 of the price of the watch was customs and associated fees.
