With all the raging storms, I’ve been binging a Chinese history drama, Ming Dynasty in 1566 (大明王朝 1566), on the recommendation of some poli sci friends. Plots aside, there are some hot scenes—like this interrogation featuring the barefooted, secretive royal police (the jinyiwei).
