these are great! it runs 24/7 in this house. less allergies, zero smoke, honestly makes the air smell better. we replace the filters every 5-6 months. have a smaller unit with pc fans that cleans whole bedroom in 10-20mins. they're easier to make than it seems but get the brand name duct tape!!

a Corsi-Rosenthal filter fan unit, showing 2" filters (on 5 sides!) with a fan and cardboard fan shroud duct-taped together to prevent leaks. handwriting on one filter says "Made 3/1/26" in red ink. The filters appear dark grey but still functioning well. a small padlock sits in the center of the fan to keep it from annoyingly vibrating.
