Accidentally sent my pebble from Cut Face Creek through shared laundry — and you know what? Respect for rocks is so unparalleled around here that a stranger recognized it as a Special Rock, and left it on the counter instead of tossing it in the trash.
Grand Portage National Monument and Heritage Center, MN. Free entry/by donation; very much worth the stop for the exhibits detailing the region's place in the international fur trade. Gained a feel for Ojibwe lacrosse (apparently the goalposts were traditionally about a mile apart!)

"Snickers salad" at an event. I was powerless to resist. (I think the green = apple, as opposed to celery.)
Post one photo of a painting that you took with your very own hands.
Unattributed, but great visual. (The middle phase needs to be compressed in the x-axis and repeated with variations though 😏)
Perhaps not the intent? but here's art perfectly encapsulating the 🇳🇴 fjord highway tunnel-to-suspension bridge-to-tunnel experience:
Headstart on the weekend. Realizing the waffle-maker predates the marriage, which shows what level of cookery Hubs was before I met him.
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
Started the gorgeous and intriguing Borgias series (2011), just before my subscription expired and summer arrived like a hurricane. I don't think the version I watched had closed-captioning so I have to pay really close attention, and I simply don't have the energy for that right now!!
Sometimes I have trouble reconciling the various aspects of my simultaneous lives. #summershenanigans
I can't with Asian drama tropes... reliant as ever on friends to feed me bits of pop-culture zeitgeist.

There's this little church in Venice 🇮🇹 behind a nondescript (by Italian church standards) door. If it weren't for The Guy's unerring nose poking into said door when it was ajar, we would have missed the most astounding fabric sculpture in inlaid marble I've ever seen.
Didn't think I was so very superstitious about boats until my eyes landed on the thigh-high wellies... maybe it's just about Being Prepared. (Chanel Cruise 2026)
Interview season over for another year. At the current rate of in-person interviews, my pressed powder is going to last another couple of years at least. 😏
