From the Space Center in Orlando. I recently visited and look what I found!
There is a Star Trek episode called the cloud minders with a similar theme. The rich live in a cloud city with every luxury and the folks on the planet have nothing and work so the rich can have their lifestyle. I think about this episode often.
Why are people working? Why are businesses open? Today is a holiday. A day we celebrate good versus evil and good wins. The force and the Jedi’s overcome those that turned to the dark side. Where are the parades? Let me check the news. Looks like we haven’t quite destroyed the dark side.
The Trump Administration threatened the Pope for speaking out against Trump. Let me repeat that. The “party” of Christian family values, threatened the Pope for speaking the truth. I really, really, really hope there is a hell.
That’s why I loved them too! Dune I read at 9 in 1968 and fifty famous fairy tales was a childhood favorite. I have an entire large cabinet filled with books. My parents used to say, “Books are the window to the world.”
Watched my Cubbies beat the Yankees 15-6 today. Sunny day, a Chicago hot dog (absolutely no ketchup), a beer, good friends. Spring training is a happy place to escape the news for a few hours. Lots of dingers….some great defensive plays.
In the show Babylon 5, there is a mad man put in charge by folks who use his narcissism and insanity to manipulate him into starting a war to gain total power over other worlds. I’m thinking of this character today. No special reason. He just popped into my head.

I’ve been to Graceland! I just came back and the artifacts were amazing! Over a million items and it was incredible to see the history. It was named Graceland by the previous owner. He didn’t change the name. Apparently he wasn’t a psychotic monster.
He loves watching Paw and Order with me. He also loves NCIS, General Hospital and baseball. He’s such a good dog and loves everyone. Well, there is one person he barks at…apparently he doesn’t like the color orange.
Gosh this sounds familiar. Hmmm…hmmmm. Where have I heard this before? Let me think on it.
I think he is the reincarnation of Himmler. They kinda look alike. Their eyes are evil eyes.
Will they have to wear stars? Ya know, so everyone knows who they are? We need to learn from history..not repeat it.
