cubirira's body shape is the same as kendoros, mukadendar and takkong from ultraman, with the head coming out of the crotch on the suit. 日本のウルトラファンはこういう股から首が伸びてくる様なこの手の怪獣のことを、何か特別な言葉で指定しているでしょうか?
i believe you can consult this chart to understand all there is to understand about me. the truth tho is that most of these ought to be occupied by shadow of the colossus but it is what it is
i think the shift to 3D has made Elephas Bird a lot more "Gertie the dinosaur"-like. i'm pretty okay with that

2023 sketches. by this time the design is complete, featuring aspects of multiple american cryptids. afterwards i tried multiple times to paint it digitally but it never worked out. this guy is one of the reasons i eventually decided to go 3D for my kaiju! thank you for reading, thread's over 🦋
These are the last two sketches before i landed on the final design that came out by mixing them together. here i was basically picking between making it capable of flight or not, something that can alter the viewer's impression considerably.
when i decided to go with the cape-wings, the entire concept moved away from just a moth to include more bird-like and mammalian features. this is when Man-Moth becomes a bugbear in the original sense of the word
i struggled for a long time with this one because i didn't want to outright copy that Mothra sketch, but i liked the way it was bipedal and also moth-like. on the other hand i wanted to have the wings turn into a cape of some sorts.
fast forward to 2014, the year i started drawing kaiju. one of the earliest i drew was basically a giant, fleshy Mothman with laser beam eyes that i spent years trying to improve upon. In 2018 i saw the early sketches for the original Mothra and i picked the idea up again
