A shot of a group of students mostly in uniform getting ready to take an exam. However, there is one person in yellow, one of our main characters. And this is an important lesson and how color and style come in to play in setting a scene. She stands out instantly in this group shot showing how her personality and independence make her different from the crowd. This is also why in beauty and the beast the animated film, Belle is dressed differently from the rest of the town and why in the life action adaptation when I decide to make everyone dress in bright colors it did not work as well. Styling and color matter when trying to tell the story of a character.
