Happy Pride Day! Our church’s queer members led our service today! I don’t always know what I believe. I definitely have no idea what happens when we die. I will defend a community who believes an authority higher than us honors love in all of its beautiful forms as long as I draw breath.

I love them! I got this one the other day…

I have some super cute ones, but I feel like this best represents the state of the world today.

The words, Tops chrome and pro debut appear at the top.

Hey! If you want to read a fascinating and well written book about 1st Amendment villains, I suggest the amazing “Authoritarians in the Academy” by @sarahemclaugh.bsky.social While it adds more frowns to my frown-y world view, it also reveals unusual suspects in 1st Amendment sabotage.

Red book with white lettering. The title of the book is Authoritarians in the Academy and it is written by Sarah McLaughlin, the first amendment protector and warrior, not the singer and friend of pets. Though, I guess this Sarah could be pet friendly as well.

In my attempt to give my brain breaks from the doom, I just finished a delightful tale, Pay the Troll by @summeroakes.bsky.social It was extremely enjoyable in the vein of Lloyd Alexander and CS Lewis, but for adults. I cannot wait to start on book 2!

Oh man, I used to have a dog that looked just like that! We had two guest labrodoodles, so it was, as my wife has coined, a cuddle puddle at our house. My dog Ginger is not sure about the newbies…
