This is how I like to remember it until it returns to normal. Those quiet, now rare, snowy days. The reflecting pool had been drained for repairs and you can just make out the Washington Monument in the distance. This kind of peace and serenity will return.
The journalists who attend deserve what they get. All this talk of lapel pins and handkerchiefs has as much weight as Susan Collins proclaiming she is concerned. The best we can do is not watch and not click on all the reactionary videos bound to appear.
Thank you for this! Dr. Seuss Goes to War is a great read btw. He was progressive. His books mirrored his political views. Think Star Bellied Sneetches and The Lorax. Yertle the Turtle was modeled after Hitler. I made this for family during his first term. I'm still fighting for the happy ending.
YES! In the same vein today I stood in subzero temps to great the monks on the Walk for Peace.I have friends/family who physically can't. I took one photo to share and when I thanked the monks it was from all of them.They HAVE learned from Indivisible how to fight in other ways. Don't discount them!
I have to keep reminding myself that these are fellow Americans who have families and lives they were forced to leave. I HOPE, should the time come, if they are asked to completely turn on us, that they remember we are Americans, as well, with families and lives.

We KNOW he is trying to figure out how to punish tge US Open. As for the KenCen, sadly many of us cancelled or did not renew our memberships. We'll be back someday.
