Experiment time! —> what happens when the print studio is a 98-degree pressure cooker? Well the cool thing is — the amber lamp doesn’t catch fire, the emulsion behaves, and the LED exposure unit doesn’t overheat… BUT THE GUY DOING THE PRINTING FUCKING MELTS IN HIS OWN SWEAT.

This will (hopefully) be ready for the event this weekend. I’m amazed at the talent that came into this event … maybe even a little too intimidated (not punk enough) to throw in.
After five attempts to design this illustration, I finally decided to go grungy/dirty with it, and now we have a poster: Walkable Kitties. Three color screen poster, 16x20-inch, and ... we'll see if I can match the colors with the inks I got. Too broke to buy more.

Jimothy gives me the ick. Not their fault; I just can’t look at the critter without associating them with — shoulder cramping, pinched nerves, broken ribs, or any other related debilitating back pain I’ve experienced. I’m a bad person.

…finding ways to spread art and make it more affordable is a sacrifice. It takes time just to build up the resources to produce and promote well. But when a person who loves art can’t afford a $900 painting, or $600 commission — you should see their eyes light up when they find a $20 t-shirt.
If a fan likes art — they like, share, buy(?). If an artist likes fans — they respect and listen to them (but they are allowed to keep boundaries). We know this in theory… …but maybe unknown: if an artist loves their own art, and respects their fans — they should try to make art more accessible.
Celebrating with friends; grill food, and drink cocktails based on memes. NOT the 4th, we call it ‘Flesh-Fest’ (due to all the meat grilled, including vegan fake meat). Great time. Social battery drained. But, it’s a 45-minute bike ride home; long enough to metabolize everything and get hungover.
