Striped Pajamas was watching me as I was vacuuming under the fridge, removing enough hair to make another cat. I took a pic of her and the light caught her just right to give her blue laser eyes 😼

Poor raccoons.....it's so hot here, even at night, not much relief. I have a kiddie pool filled with water in the back yard and multiple bowls of water and ice throughout the front flower beds, all cleaned and filled every day. Mama knows it's safe to hang out with her kits here.

An adult raccoon and her smaller, darker kit are splootted (stretched out) on a concrete patio, trying to stay cool.

The baby raccoons are finally old enough to venture out on their own occasionally. This little one came out early to eat the remaining cat food I had out for Mango the feral cat this morning. This raccoon is so cute, a bit smaller than its siblings and a lot darker in color.

A small raccoon, about four months old, is standing on top of a wire cage. It is eating cat food out of a bowl while it looks over its shoulder at the person taking a picture of it.

Bandit: You're not going to take my box, dammit! (I was picking stuff up, put the box and other stuff on the counter so I would remember to put it in recycle....walked back out and she was like this 😸)

Bashful keeps doing a Houdini and getting her tshirt sleeves off, so I found little jacket at Petsmart she cant get off. So now shes laying on the floor being dramatic (she's fine, she just ate).

Took Bashful to the vet this morning, found a weird lump on the back of her fron leg. She got antibiotic and steroid shots, vet said might be an allergic reaction that became inflamed, will monitor and go back in two weeks. She's in a tshirt to keep her from licking the bump.
