My good friend and colleague Jamie plays piano in the hospital lobby once or twice per week for 30-45 minutes before the work day starts. I always pause to listen for a bit. Today was a jazz day- please enjoy, sound on.

2 decades of home gardening and I finally got smart and bought one of these adjustable hose extension sprayers. Game changer. And was able to precision water without disturbing the lightning bug.

Doing a “hand feel” test with OldestAmazingDaughter™️ of our various sets of silverware to determine what her preferred style / weight is. of course she chose an out of production type. But at least she’s on the path of knowing what she wants. We can’t be buying spoons that feel weird - amirite?!?
Didn’t realize this was a red blend when putting it into the wine chiller last week. poured it just now for a glass on the porch for dusk bird listening and it’s actually perfect.
Ramona Brady-Sanchez, LPN retired today after 46 years of exceptional service. 16 in the Army as a medic, then 30 years as a civilian, working in almost every aspect of pediatric care at Walter Reed Army Medical Center & Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The glue. I’ll miss her dearly

“Beaver cam” update. This racoon spent about 2 hrs in this spot alternating between digging under the roots and hunting at the water’s edge. I guess this is a good spot.
Green heron successfully hunting for frogs. There is a nesting pair nearby.
He’s back tonight at exactly the same time looking much better and sure footed even if not, perfect 💪
It’s interesting and happy to see what looks like the same raccoon come back to the pond bank hunting for frogs and bugs. Last night, he definitely looked like he had injured a hind paw…
Took me all of about 10 minutes, in and out, in my neighborhood. That should be everyone’s experience (unless of course they prefer to use a mail in ballot).
