Having lived and worked in the UK for 7 years in the 90s, I have been surprised for the past 10-15 years how UK citizens were being dumbed down by right-wing populist lies. And, 10 years later, I'm still furious that I am no longer an EU citizen thanks to Farage and Brexit.
