Yeah, i'm still stuck on how Nagoya just never seems to end... It just goes on and on and on and on, and there's still towers way out there in the distance! And everywhere i've been so far still has so much... everything!
Today i had to make a round trip from Nagoya to Tokyo to go get a coworker from the airport. I'm getting pretty comfortable with getting lost in Japan, it feels odd. Also, there's a lot of city. So much of it. It seems like it never ends.
Wanted a better camera for the Japan trip, couldn’t afford what i wanted, but this has some features i really could use so… Let’s see how that goes.

Here's the VRChat Mixed Reality thing i was playing with at Anthrocon! It's not perfect, but it's still very fun for what it is. Also, yeah, first person snout. I think this needs to really be more of a thing!

So with me being me instead of some tourist-y souvenir i bought myself some made in Japan flush cutters. I never heard of that brand, i hope they’re good!
Got to play with some Xreal and Viture glasses with displays today. They could actually be very interesting as a « VR light » kind of setup, more than i expected. I strongly dislike the AI-oriented ones, but if they can just work with SteamVR as display/tracking only… Could be very fun!
"You can use AI translation, it's fine, nobody will notice, and it makes some really pretty things!" Yep, "CAUTION: PRECISION ECAUTION" has a very clear meaning. Also, i think caution signs should be as clear and simple as possible, fake weathering, rust and scratches don't enhance that.
I guess that's one valid reason to have internet-connected hotel wash-dry machines... At least it, surprisingly, did NOT require an account of any kind. Just enter the portal's address while connected to the hotel,s wifi and there you go!
Also impressive for a hotel room. I didn't expect a LAN port! But it works! And fast!
