Ray nods his head. “I’ve learned a lesson thanks to my cool friend, Sonic,” he says, leaning up against Metal’s other side, making Metal’s circuit board start to smoke. “Girls are pretty cool these days, huh?”

“I TOLD Y’ALL TO SHUT UP!” Belle barks. “Don’t make me get the skirts ‘n dresses out!” Ray, Sonic, and Metal do not say anything else as she starts her repairs. “S’what I thought.”

“Uh… no?” Sticks answers, looking around awkwardly. “I’m orange.” Isn’t that obvious? “What are you, stupid or somethin’?”

“Not…” Sonic almost forgot who he was talking to right now. “I don’t mean that we look alike, I mean the… Are you aromantic?” he asks plainly, not really sure how else to phrase the question, least of all delicately.

“Oh, that,” Sticks says, kicking her feet idly. Stupid, tall human chairs. “I mean, I guess so? I think that’d be the right word anyways. Closest that I think we got.”
